Dinner with the cousins at Basilico! Everyone got the set menu thingy, which was a main course and a buffet for appetizers and desserts. Appetizers were good but nothing special, I tried not to eat so much so that I would have space for dessert. I got lamb chops for my main. The roasted potatoes that came with it were HEAVEN. mmmm. The lamb really tender but a bit too salty, which was disappointing. DESSERT. omg the chocolate shooters were the highlight of the meal srsly. It's like eating molten dark chocolate. oh yea oh yea and the espresso ice cream.

I cut my hair! On my way back home from the hairdresser's I got a phonecall from oysterboy asking if I could meet him at orchard like NOW. The weather made me decide against it. Instead, I ended having a 3 hour phone call with oyster boy while he wandered around orchard alone because he had a nice outfit on and thus refused to go home. Gosh my cordless handset ran out of battery a couple of times during the call HAHA.

We'll be renting out this house and prolly renting a place at dairy farm (AGAIN IKR). I'm going to miss this place! I really like this neighbourhood a lot. It's so pleasant. But what to do. Today I took a long long long long bus ride to the east to meet ah bel and mr ngo. Fun stuff. Had koi for the first time ever (it's not bad but it's not great either). A bit of band/guitar hero-ing and then playing on real guitars. I obviously, as usual, quite failed at this but I still maintain the dream to one day learn how to play a guitar (or ukulele, I'm impartial) properly. I got on the bus home at 8 15pm and reached the dover station bus stop at 9 15. Long long bus ride. I was less famished than I thought I would be when I reached home.

I'm very upset! My dad told me on friday after I landed that I look like I've put on weight. Then my aunt told me that I put on weight when I saw her on Saturday night. And today my mummy said that she didn't think I had put on weight when I first landed, but I look like I've put on weight since I landed. I'm grateful that the weighing machine is out of battery so I don't have to face the ugly truth (oh yea I watch the movie at mr ngo's house too in his extravagantly large and posh entertainment room). I've decided to hold off on cutting my hair for a while longer to hide my increasingly moon-like cheeks.

when it rains in Melbourne

It was raining when I went to bed last night. It's quite peaceful actually, because it's not like those torrential downpours in Singapore with the thunder and lightning.

It's been pretty rainy today too, but sunny. So I've seen 6 rainbows today (yes I counted). I'm supposed to be finishing my essay/studying but I keep wandering to the window and I stare at the rainbow until it fades completely. So yea, pretty damn screwed for tomorrow.

Hi there MBBers...

As you know you exam is on monday morning in the strange but sort of attractive Exihibition Buildings (make sure you know where that is). I have organised some reasonable weather but i suggest you bear in mind that you may need to wear several layers that you can remove depending upon the temperature. Its a large space and can be too cold or too hot. You do not want to be uncomfortable for three hours.

With regard to the time...you will have plenty of it so do not rush or panic. I suggest you go through the questions you know them return to the harder ones. If you do this then make sure you fill out the right line of the answer sheet each time, use a pencil and bring a rubber - practice safe examination procedure.

Above all do not worry...you have to put some serious effort into failing this exam. Read the question, twice, and make sure you are answering it. If you are not completely sure then go for your best answer. I hope there are no typos (i did proof read it and corrected a couple) but use your common sense if there are. We always pick up any rogue questions in the marking procedure and give them a stern talking to.

Finally, have a good weekend, take some time for yourself without working to just relax and ponder the proverbial roses.

I made cappuccino ice cream cake! Supposed to let it set overnight but I keep opening the freezer to look at it. I can't wait to try it! Omg and it's unbelievably easy to make.

There was an almost-disaster when I was laying the biscuit base in the container. I was very smart, really, I turned the container upside down after laying the crust to see if it would hold. OBVIOUSLY IT DIDN'T and I found the table, my jeans and the floor covered in buttered digestive biscuit crumbs. But I managed to clear up everything and save the bits on the table. So yay!

Urgh my word count is 153. I'm like raving about how my first ever band concert led me to an epiphany - How much I love music. and it just feels weird lying through my teeth like that.

I don't understand your constant need to be "funny". It just gets tiresome, at which point if you continue, it's just plain irritating. Come on man, act your age. You're not 10 anymore. Even if you were, it would still be annoying. Sometimes what you say really makes people want to punch your face in. Surely your personality comprises of more than that. not funny ≠ boring.

omg I'll be back so soon! I'm really excited heehee. I desperately want to go shop at zara. That's almost on par with wanting to eat chicken rice/beef horfun. Arghhh been so deprived seriously.

Roomie and I are in kind of a dilemma now. Because our break's so long, we have to turn off the water and electricity supply before we leave otherwise we'll still get billed. BUT in our fridge/freezer, we have an unopened tub of Sara Lee cappuccino ice cream, along with 15 bulla crunches, 24++ mini beef pies and 15 eggs. I don't know how we're going to finish it. Roomie's staying longer, until the 20 something (oops I forgot exactly when), so she'll probably bear the brunt of this. Right now, our plan is to eat beef pies and eggs and one bulla crunch everyday. A sure way to grow fat.
